AN EVENING WITH PAT BOONE
by Carol Kaufman Segal

Pat Boone has been an entertainment legend for half a century. He will tell his life story, along with family and show business film clips, photographs and stories, in a benefit performance for The Society of Singers  (www.singers.org). An Evening With Pat Boone will open at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles for one night only, Wednesday, September 22, at 7:30 PM.

An Evening With Pat Boone is a world premiere of a show set to tour the country and looks back on Boon’s 50-year-plus career that includes forty-five million records sold and thirty-eight top forty records. He starred in dozens of movies and was one of the youngest stars ever to host his own network TV show. The live show coincides with his latest romantic album, Near, a CD of classic and original love songs being released September 28.

Tickets for this benefit performance are priced from $50 to $125 and are available by phoning 818-995-7100 or by email at judy@singers.org. The Skirball Cultural Center is located at 2701 North Sepulveda Blvd. in Los Angeles.
